Know Your Industry Regulations and Local Ordinances

In this ever-changing California employment landscape, it is more important than ever to know your industry requirements. Some recent law changes affect Healthcare, Restaurants, Manufacturing and Janitorial. Infinium HR will always provide California general law compliance with as much specificity as possible, but with so many industries and local jurisdictions, we need to partner with you in your compliance efforts.

Some tips to help you remain in touch with your specific industry regulations are networking with your industry leadership groups, joining your local chamber chapter for local legislation and signing up for email alerts from your industry leaders.

The other area businesses need to be sure they are aware of is the ordinances that affect their geographical location. Some counties and cities have specific regulations involving minimum wage, sick pay and other requirements that differ and may supersede state regulations.
